Abstract

El objeto del presente trabajo reside en ahondar en nuestro conocimiento del contenido político de San Manuel Bueno. A tal fin, y tras reseñar las dificultades interpretativas que ha planteado, consideramos primeramente la correspondencia de los personajes con las corrientes políticas de la época, antes de contextualizarla en la política de 1930. Dicha contextualización presenta a un Unamuno comprometido con la transición política tras la dictadura y defensor del llamado socialismo cristiano, y al protagonista de la novela como ejemplo de las políticas sociales entonces defendidas por sectores de la Iglesia y teorizadas por el Cardenal Martín de Herrera.

Continuing with the social impact of the work, it is important to emphasize that, due to its content, it can be assigned to the area of interest of ODS 16 - Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels, with a probability of 42% according to the mBERT algorithm developed by Aurora University.
