Abstract

El artículo se enfoca en explicar la participación chilena en la Guerra Fría Interamericana, profundizando en las vinculaciones internacionales transcurridas en el Gobierno de la Unidad Popular y su fin, tras el golpe de Estado del 11 de septiembre de 1973. Se analizan los diversos momentos de la política internacional chilena en el escenario de Guerra Fría Interamericana, dando cuenta de la interacción entre las decisiones de la política doméstica a la luz de las tensiones e influencias exteriores implicadas en la polarización política y posterior quiebre de la democracia
